Approval of First Amendment to 2023 Polling Place Agreement between El Paso County and El Paso Independent School District
JUSTIFICATION STATEMENT:
(To allow the County of El Paso to use EPISD as a permanent polling place for the November 2023 Uniform Election at Moye Elementary School and Hartley PK-8)

SUMMARY:
The County of El Paso requests to use Moye Elementary School and Hartley PK-8 EPISD as permanent polling places for the November 2023 Uniform Election. EPISD has served as a permanent polling place for County elections for years. The County requires the First Amendment to the 2023 Polling Place Agreement between El Paso County and EPISD to be executed. Use of EPISD facilities provides a consistent and familiar location for the voters.
ADMINISTRATIVE RECOMMENDATION/MOTION:
It is recommended that the Board authorize the Superintendent to execute the First amendment to the 2023 Polling Place Agreement between El Paso County and El Paso Independent School District, as presented, and authorize the Superintendent to enter into any necessary amendments thereto, and direct Administration to complete the exhibits, as necessary.
