On February 12, 2019, the Board of Trustees approved the Construction Manager At-Risk procurement delivery method providing the best value to the New Northeast Middle School, Project No. 17.619. Construction Manager At-Risk qualification statements were received on April 1, 2019. An evaluation committee comprised of the Chief of Staff, Chief Quality Officer, Assistant Superintendent for Middle Schools, Director of Facilities and Construction, and Facilities Project Manager, met April 3, 2019, to evaluate the qualifications submitted for Step One. The EPISD Procurement Department monitored the process throughout.
The Facilities and Construction Department is recommending that the Board approve the recommended ranking and authorize the administration to proceed to the second step of the two-step procurement process with no more that five (5) of the top ranked offerors.
Administration will present at a future Board meeting the proposed Step Two ranking of the offerors.
